audioaudiosource3d sound
3D-audio-source limit
When activating 3D sound and spawning a multitude of audio sources in different areas of the scene, there is unwanted clicking whenever the player moves around. The stats window doesn't show any DSP problems or audio clipping. A quick Google-search pulled up this thread, where someone posts that Unity only handles 32 sound sources at the same time: http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/482218/best-practices-for-playing-a-lot-of-audio.html
That post is from 2013, so I'm wondering if that information is still accurate and if my problem is impossible to resolve without reducing the amount of audio sources. Right now, I have a minimum of around 40 sounds and up to over 60.
