Ten Years of the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization and the Rights of Peoples
Tallinn, 9-10 September, 2000
The conference was organised to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 6 September 1990, when in Tartu, Estonia, representatives of five peoples - Crimean Tartars, Georgia, Estonia, Tatarstan and Tibet - signed a memorandum where they unanimously agreed to find the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organisation.

A day prior to the conference, on September 8th, 2000, a regional meeting of the representatives of UNPO members from the CIS countries was held in Tallinn.
