Interactively study line segments

Drag either of the blue points to adjust the segment.
The resulting change in the segment depends on the constraint setting:

None: The points may be dragged anywhere,
X: The x coordinate of each point is fixed, so the allowed movement is only up or down,
Y: The y coordinate of each point is fixed, so the allowed movement is only left or right,
X + Y: The point moves only along the line extended from the current segment.

Clicking and dragging the line itself allows translation of the segment.
If Triangle is selected, the rise and run are shown in green. The length of the segment is shown on the plot as a decimal and above the plot as an exact value.
If Extend is selected, the line segment is extended into a line, and its equation is displayed and updated as points are moved.
Click and hold the chart background to bring up a magnifier.
