Unity alarm clock
I want to make an Android game with a real life social interaction component. During real life portions, I'd like the game to put the phone to sleep then wake it up and play and alarm after 45 minutes, actual sleep would be better then the partial wake state (screen off, CPU on) for battery consumption.
Can Unity wake a device up?
Hi @gryphern , did you get any progress on this? Looking info on something similar and couldn't find anything yet.
Hello there.
I dont know the answer, and not an expert with android, but I supose this is not a Unity thing, you need to use Android API and commands, Unity is just the way to "pack" everything. You should go to some android forum for this.
yeah, maybe not the place, but @gryphern was looking for this back in 2017, so maybe he got some info? I'm thinking on making an Android service that handles the ti$$anonymous$$g and settings of the device, and calls the unity game when it's time to. I'm also looking for info in Android forums but maybe this guy resolved his issue, and getting the question updated wouldn't hurt anyone imo.
