C4d r13 import problem
Hey Guys,
My god its so good to be back! unity is a gorgeous program, coming from c4d, motion and final cut pro.
So im back on my game, and my characters joints are all animated wrong:
Here is how they look in c4d (and how they should look):
But here is how they look in unity3d:
All I did was drag the .c4d file into the assets folder of my game.
Thanks for reading, if you do know whats going on, please say!
Cheers!

Ok, Since my post got voted up I will try a few things to see if I can get it to work,
Will post more in an hour!
Iv'e played around a bit and heres what hasn't worked:
exporting an fbx, 3ds, obj file.
altering the animation a bit.
adjusting the bones in unity.
re animating the character.
Now I shall do the triangle eyes until I get the reply I am looking for ∆_∆.

The seriously messed up thing is this.
And its what I get when I import the fbx file back into c4d from the asset folder where it was exported.

The only thing that worked, and i'm not sure why, was completely remaking all the animations using the old bone system inside of c4d r13.
Well,
Thanks for all the kind help guys, any time I feel like taking advantage of unities large helpful community..

Ok..
Just so you guys know, the problem was that my skin was animated to move forward but the bones stayed behind...
The good news is you can still use c4d r13's bone system in unity.
Cheers!
