Can't rotate character in horizontal axis.
Hey everyone and thanks for help in advance. I stumbled across annoying problem - I can't rotate my character. I traveled throughout all my scripts with my friend and I can't find anything that could be for ex. reseting my rotation each frame. Removing scripts did not help. Removing rigidbody2d did actually help... but I need rigidobody :( Every other object except for Character is ok to be rotated with rigidbody. Here is video how it looks when i try to rotate in inspector. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4FOdx-kD_g&feature=youtu.be
I hope someone has idea what is causing my problem and will be kind to answer,

Couple of questions could help us out a little more.
Do you have any constraints set on the rigidbody in the inspector that would "freeze the rotation" on the X/Y axis? What happens if you manually set the number ins$$anonymous$$d of using the slider technique? Lastly, are you able to change the rotation of the object via your script ins$$anonymous$$d of in the inspector?
$$anonymous$$anually putting raw numbers into rotation field does not work either. It's getting reseted to "---" characters too. And I did try to rotate object with scripts, but... you know - it didn't work :( I have one rigdBody.freezeRotation = true; in my gun script but turning off all scripts did not help so it can't be the problem.

Here's something I found that is similar if not the same to the issue you're having, if this doesn't help, let me know -

Changing from global to local did not help. God that problem is so annoying. And thank you that you are still trying to help me.
You're welcome..I know a big frustration here is actually getting someone who knows the issue/is willing to assist. No problem is too small or too large for any kind of assistance....
So changing that didn't help? Hmmm...I'm gonna research this a little more and see if I can't find anything for you. Also, this is gonna sound really dumb, but have you restarted Unity/your computer to see if there is any issue with Unity itself?
Yes I did, I'm trying to find solution for like 3 days ;).

Problem solved by disabling Interpolation in rigidoby2d...
