Motionbuilder->Fbx->Unity. Loads up fine, but animation won't run
Hi guys, I have a model that is done in maya and passed to motionbuilder for animation before exported to FBX and put into Unity.
What works:
Can see the model in T-Pose in inspector
Animation clip is included and listed in the Animation component (and set to play automatically)
Can be placed into Scene and appears too tiny but I set the scale properly
What doesn't work
When I press play the animation doesn't run.
I've searched around abit but doesn't seem anyone have this specific issue. Does anyone know why?
Sidenote: I am new to unity as well as the modeler hence we are not sure if we did everything correctly. Prior to this our animation clip was not included in the fbx when we imported, the modeler plotted all the keyframe and animation and exported into unity which made it work. Hope someone has a clue. Thanks.

You have probably already checked this but does your model/the armature of the model have an animation component attached (should be shown in Inspector window). The animation component should have all of the animations listed I think..Only an idea though
