How to make a Layout Groups child fit its content.

Hey.

So im working on an options menu which has a list of options displayed in a Vertical List(Vertical Layout Group). In Each of my options in the list i have a title and a dropdown box. I want my children of the Vertical Layout Group to scale their height when i open the dropdown window.

Currently when i open the dropdown box the options in that dropdown overlap with the options below and the ui doesnt scale to fit its content(drop down box).

Here is a quick image i made in paint for how i want each options element to scale when you open the dropdown.
