MonoDevelop: command a sometimes all, sometimes replace

does anyone know why sometimes the key combo Command+a selects all the copy in the .cs file, other times it runs the replace function?

Hotkeys in $$anonymous$$D is pain, really... in my case they dont work in 80% cases, but I'm a lucky apparently, because I didnt have messes like this -)))))
