Does the chromecast plugin work on regular smart tv's?
I found this plugin from google that let's you design games for the chromecast, but i don't wan't it to be just for the chromecast, i also wan't it to be for regular smart tv's, so my question is: "does this plugin also work for smart tv's? and if not is are there any alternatives?"
No, that plugin won't work for just any Smart TV. It is only for Cast-enabled TVs.
Any TV that you want to work with will need to have something installed on it that works with your game. There is no industry standard for this sort of thing yet. Google Cast (previously ChromeCast) is the closest thing so far.
