Why can I not place trees properly in the unity terrain editor? [Unity 5.3.5f1]
I've been trying to fix this for hours now and I can't find the root of the problem. I have a blender model of a pine tree which I would like to add to my unity terrain using the "Add tree" section of the terrain editor. The model only has 1 mesh renderer, so I can place them just fine, but the rotation is wrong. No matter how many times I try to rotate the actual model in blender, nothing changes to the terrain placer.
I tried to create an empty gameobject and set it as the parent of the pine tree model, but when I try to place the gameobject with the tree placer, it suddenly won't place any trees.
I get no error messages what so ever, what is wrong?
I'm using unity 5.3.5f1 personal.
