I'm attempting to make an isometric game using 3d tiles - nothing lines up
My tiles will be simple planes/ramps/cubes - Some half cubes for water - etc etc etc -- my problem is that no matter what I do - nothing lines up. I literally clone objects and drag it using snapping and it creates gaps. All of these objects have the same anchor point - all of these objects are literally 1 unity unit - it still creates gaps. And for the love of god yes, I've fiddled with the snap settings
The only objects I've seen that don't create gaps are unity built in 3d models. Maybe it's just me - but this is insane - How can be there be hair thin gaps everywhere?
Changing the model size in blender - does nothing - changing the scale in unity does nothing - for every single tile I use - I have to micromanage the gaps that appear and disappear at different zoom levels. Because they are unnatural in the scope of the scenes and jump out at you. That piece of grass has a black line on it...
Any help would be appreciated.
