how to import custom plants and grass into unity
I know how to create and import custom trees into unity so that they can be painted onto the terrain via the terrain tools so that they can be affected by the wind via the wind zone tool.
but my question is how do you import custom plants and grasses into the unity so that I can paint them onto the terrain much like I would do with the custom trees so that they would animate in the wind via the wind zone tool.
I really have looked all over the place and cannot find anything, YouTube, unity, there are no tutorials, so I was wondering if any of yous knew how to do this or if this is even possible.
Thanks in adavance

As for plants like bushes, mushrooms, etc, you can import them like trees, just by importing them like you would import a tree. You can't, however, use GameObjects for grass. You can only use textures. But if you want, you can import the grass like a tree using the aforementioned method. Also, the grass detail object (texture billboard) can interact with the wind. You can get to the Detail Object section by pressing the flower-shaped button.
