Question by Luke Shiels · Apr 19, 2011 at 10:53 AM · flagged-for-close

Hello? Newbie here? Help me please.

Hello. I am new to unity. I started one month ago. I only have coded one script, I Do know a few programming languages, but none in unity (except C, but I know 2% of what your supposed to know). And, I am making a chat! I need help. I Checked the networking example, that has one, but, I, Cant use that. Its kinda hard, if anyone could pass source code, or file via e-mail. That would be great.

If I were you, I'd start off with something simpler.

you should ask this question in unity forum, Unity answers work better with explicit, precise questions. As $$anonymous$$uzz says, if you start with Unity, and no experience in javascrip or c#, building a chat is definitely not the first thing to do, and will actually put you off. So for example, ask a question about what makes you specifically having a hard time using the networking example.
