Help with recreating movement from game
I'm trying to make a remake of a level from a game called Battle for Bikini Bottom. This is a video of the game which will show the movement I'm talking about:

From the video is seems the movement works by the player always moving forward but changing direction by changing the rotation.
Would anyone be able to help me?

This looks like a third-person orbit camera, very typical of 3d platform games.
Fortunately, Unity already comes supplied with camera rigs for many common situations such as this. Just go Assets -> Import Package -> Cameras and try out the different prefabs by dropping them into your scene.
Though i was also wondering how I would make the character rotate towards the direction of their movement? Since that seems to be what's happening and the camera is just moving back behind the player.
You could do that by lerping the camera's forward vector to match the character's forward vector.
