QR Code Reading with iPhone 6 doesn't seem to work well with Unity.
I'm building an app that needs to scan QR Codes. It works well on newer phones but very poorly on the iPhone 6. I bought several QR scanning packages from the Asset Store and they all have the same result on the iPhone 6. The camera app that comes with the phone works very well at scanning QR codes but that doesn't seem to be the case with Unity apps.
So my questions:
Is there a way to get better performance with scanning QR codes on a iPhone 6 with Unity?
why does the camera app that comes with the iPhone 6 work better at this than apps built with Unity?
Is app support for the iPhone 6 even a good idea anymore or should the minimum be iPhone 7 or higher?
I'm using unity 2020, I should also note that the QR code being scanned is about .5 x.5 inches.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
