Using Raycast to Drag Circular Shader Around Terrain
I am very new at C# and Unity, so any help will be appreciated.
I am trying to make a circular shader follow the mouse along the in-game terrain. I was thinking of taking the transform coordinates given by the Raycast and using them to tell the circle shader where to move. The idea is that I want the circle to act as a selector graphic that conforms to the shape of the 3d terrain and follows the mouse.
I know it is possible, but I am just very bad a programming and I couldn't find any internet resources that could help.
