From where I can get algorithm working behind collision detection (discrete, continuous) in unity 3D?
I want to use collision detection function in unity 3D for motion planning of robot but need detail reference of that function? can anybody help me ?

you probably need the engine source code for that. everything else to know is written down in the unity documentation.

Unity uses Phyx for collision detection. See http://docs.nvidia.com/gameworks/content/gameworkslibrary/physx/guide/Manual/RigidBodyCollision.html
