I can't get my blender file to show up in Unity
So my friend made a model of a house... however, there's one problem. When I export the .blend file as a .fbx and load it up in unity... it doesn't show up.
This is how the house looks in blender. Could that be the issue as to why it doesn't show in unity? I tried removing the wireframe and everything. I just can't seem to get it working
Ninja edit: When I mean it doesn't show up... it doesn't render in the scene. The objects are there, but it's not being rendered.
Does the mesh have any face data? If not then how do you think Unity could even display the model?
I see. Apparently all the face data was RE$$anonymous$$OVED since my friend sent me the .blend file. I guess I'll have to ask him to export the .fbx from his working blend file. Thanks for helping out!
If this doesn't work I have another tipp, one day when I exported a fbx from blender the scale was so tiny that the mesh did not appear in unity. So finally just try to scale the Object up ..
That usually happens if you are running an older version of Blender than the file you are opening. Be sure to keep Blender up to date! If you still have the original file you should be able to open it properly with a newer version of Blender.

Hello,
Blender occasionally changes it's file format to work with newer features, or just as a general improvement, so sometimes data is lost when opening blender files created in newer versions of blender, with an older version of blender.
The best solution would be to update your version of blender to the latest one. Blender is always backwards compatible, but not always forwards, so keeping with the latest version ensures no loss of data :)
Hope this helps,
