Need advise with creating / outsourcing sprite sheets
Hi, I am creating my first game in 2d. I need around 15 to 20 sprite sheets for different characters in my game. What is the right way to go about it. How much would it cost me to outsource and if its a good idea to outsource. I am not an artist so not sure how to proceed with this..
Any suggestion/ pointers will be great

depends on resolution support. If you're going for just one you can use Unity's Sprite System. For more I recommend 2D Toolkit. No need for atlasing in both cases, that's done for you by both systems. That means you need single PNGs per frame. I can't help you with costs, I think it much depends on company or freelancer, newcomer or professional. My advice is looking for a suitable style first, not every artist is capable of drawing everything.

I think that largely this depends on the volume of work and accuracy preset sheets for your characters. If you give this work to specialists in Europe, you can save. Read this article - https://mwdn.com/infographic-outsource-to-ukraine/ to understand the benefits of such cooperation. But since you have work and not so much easier for you to find a good specialist for https://www.fiverr.com or https://www.upwork.com
