Why does Tilemap.ClearAllEditorPreviewTiles remove instanced game objects?
Why does Tilemap.ClearAllEditorPreviewTiles() remove instanced game objects? It seems to remove and then add again game objects that were instanced by tiles placed on the tilemap. Either I'm using this feature wrong or it is a bug (which I almost certainly think) because it make the instanced game objects almost useless.
This makes it currently impossible for me to create a building mechanic with previews shown.
Also another question: why do editor previews instance game objects? This makes it neccesarry to copy the tile and remove the attached gameobject before using it as a preview which is kind of impractical.
Although I now found a workaround: place all previews on an extra tilemap and set the tile anchor and order in layer to the values of the tilemap on which the preview would be otherwise.
