2D isotiles. How to create the visual effect of walking up a ramp or a slope???
Hello guys and thanks for taking your time!
I am building a 2D isometric grid with 3 tilemaps (floor, upper level, and colliders), following the unity tutorial 2D isotilemaps guidelines.
I would like to make my character run slower when walking over certain tiles, (unless you can recommend me a better way to make the character look like it is walking up a hill or stairs. I had in mind that if the char walks slower on that certain tile, it would make an impression of running up (but now I think that it should only be slower when climbing and not getting down...).
Is there any way to detect in which tile I am on, so I can apply a movespeed multiplier??
Or as I said, what would be the best way to imply a visual effect of running up stairs???
