possible to get secure mysql connection while database is from a hoster?
hey guys, i've made a game and its almost finished. i want to upload it on Google Play Store but i have one last problem and the problem is than my database is directly connected to my game and other players might be find the connection and grief it. i looked from examples but most of the examples are: its a local database so they can put the PhP file in a random documents in their pc or they own a real server and put it there. but for me it's a bit complicated. i'm renting a MySQL database from a Database hoster called WebFaction. well i have only the database with some tables and nothing else.
so is it still possible for me to get a secure connection while im renting the database from a hoster? and is there also a quick video about it?
