How to find the gender of the user for a mobile build?

Hello,

TARGET : Mobile

MARKETPLACE: Amazon, Google Play & App Store.

I am using analytics and I want to find the age & gender of the user who bought my game. How to achieve it? I do not want to ask it from the user. I also see that age might be a difficult task but is there a way to find the gender.

Thanks and appreciate your help.

You want to know but don't want to ask? A little creepy lol j/k j/k. I'd look into google analytics for a question like this.

I don think it is creepy. I am not extracting any personal info or what not. It is just their gender & age which you pretty much find in any analytics sheet. The reason I do not want to ask the user is coz, there has to be a way without asking them.

What does this question have to do with Unity? Shouldn't you be asking somewhere where they have that kind of data? Unity certainly doesn't.

Take a picture and check if he-she has long hair, the given answer is about 80% accurate.

Joke besides, I don't see any way to know these informations without taking any personnal intel about the person !

@kirasensei Thanks. @julien.Lynge Well the answer to the question is part of the comment. "Unity certainly doesn't" - if you know it for sure. If not I was looking at any other different view from this community.

This is exactly what "taking personnal information" is :D

I just don't think it's right to try to find out the gender or age if the user doesn't want that information known. It is totally personal information. Some may not care, but some do for their own reasons. Regardless this question has nothing to do with Unity so I'm closing it.
