how to let 3d object leave tracker using vuforia

I and using vuforia with unity. I want my object can still appear when the camera is not focus on the target, I have searched some tutorial like disable the QCARbehaviour but the camera will become black screen . Is is possible to have a button to turn on tracking lost or tracking on? Or other solution that can let my 3d object will not disappear when tracking lost
