Unity 4.5.0f6 Xcode 5.1.1 splash screen error
Hi,
I have just upgraded to Unity 4.5.0f6 and now I get this error when I try to run my project on a iPad (iOS 7.1.1) via Xcode 5.1.1:
"You are using Unity iPhone Basic. You are not allowed to remove the Unity splash screen from your game"
I have googled around and I have tried to turn PNG compression off in the generated Xcode project, but this does not help. How can I work around this, or is there a fix on its way?
Thank you Søren
There seems to be a bug and a workaround: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/unity-4-5-xcode-iphone-splash-screen-cant-build.249010/
I'm getting the same issue and I think it's not compatible with the latest iOS update. Every time I build and run, it craps out. I tried downgrading to Xcode 5.0 too. I can't get a decent build to my iPad whatsoever.
