What's the matter downloading with 3G
I developed an application which downloads some assets and then instantiate them into objects. If I connect my device using wifi, there's no problem at all, but if I use 3G, some assets don't download properly (no download error, but when I try to instantiate them, the assetbundle.mainasset is null). ¿What's the matter with 3G?
Probably means the assetbundle got damaged during transfer.
Isn't there a general file size limit for 3G connections? I never had a device with 3G, so i can't tell.
I don't know if I am sincere, but the bundles are small (max 17kb)and in each execution the assets which fail change (sometimes it's only 1, sometimes 5 of them fail and in one execution all of them worked)
normally 3G Take more time then WiFi connection, and 3G depends on cellular network, and cellular network lots of time breaks for a second, if it's happen with you, your assets bundle or single assets will be damage, and not work proper
Thank you PAHeartBeat! Setting a number of retries in the download seems to have fixed it (and it only takes one retry so it isn't a very odd solution).
