Unity 64 bit color?
Hello unity users,
I have been spending a very long time reading all the posts about how unity is a 32 bit application and how you can only build a game in 64 bit. However, I have not found the answer to the question that I am wondering. Can you get a 64 bit color palate in unity? Does not have to be in the editor, just in standalone? I have made a quick scene and I get a lot of splotchy color gradating and it is really ugly. The color splotching appears both in the editor and when I build it in a 64 bit mode.
Just wondering how to change this.
Thanks so much.
Cheers
Building to target 32/64 bit Operating Systems has nothing to do with color depth.
Any artifacts you see have other causes. If you post a screen shot we may be able to help identify the true cause.
Here is a screenshot of a default skybox in unity. It should be commonly used enough to show the problem. The color splotching and ugly gradating happens on everything.
Thanks,
