Creating and reading files from phone's memory
I am working on a photo editing kind of app where user can click selfies and add some overlay effects on their selfies. Since I am using vuforia in the same app so for camera functionality I am using the camera provided by the vuforia. For effects, I have kept about 10-15 short videos of about 5 seconds in the streaming assets folder, as on android device, I was not able to access videos from the resources folder. For merging effects with the selfie image, I am using ffmpeg asset that I purchased from the unity asset store.
So when I keep them in streaming assets folder, everything works fine on the pc but when I run the app in android device, I am unable to create the new output file in the streaming assets folder. Also I saw one more thing, that when I keep the effects video in the streaming assets folder, app size increases way too much. Without videos, app size is around 66 MB but with videos it crosses 150 MB.
So can you tell me what is the best place to keep these videos and the output file?
