As the title says, where does unity save packages downloaded from asset store?

Win 7: %AppData%\Unity\Asset Store\
Win XP: C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Unity\Asset Store\
Mac: ~/Library/Unity/Asset Store/
what about in windows 7. Since C:\Documents and Settings does not exist there
@zico_mahilary C:\Users[your username]\AppData\Roa$$anonymous$$g\Unity\Asset Store

On OSX:
~/Library/Unity/Asset\ Store/
With the fact that the Library folder may very well be hidden from you. If you don't see the Library folder, simply type "open ~/Library/Unity/Asset\ Store" using the Ter$$anonymous$$al application ( in Applications/Utilities/)
Yes, the Library folder seems to be hidden by default at least in OS X $$anonymous$$avericks.. To make it visible (more or less) permanently, type in Ter$$anonymous$$al application
chflags nohidden ~/Library
which will un-hide the Library folder in Finder and other GUI applications. After this you might wish to hide the other directories in Library so that they won't show in Finder Searches etc.. To do that:
cd
cd Library
chflags hidden *
chflags nohidden Unity

On win7 it puts them here: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Unity\Asset Store
Also, if you want to load them in at other times than project creation, go to the asset store and in the top click the button that has an arrow pointing down on a "tray" like icon. This takes you to a page with everything you've downloaded through asset store (both stuff that is laying locally on your machine and stuff that you have downloaded elsewhere)

For Windows 7: Type %appdata% in the Windows Explorer address bar.
The downloads are in the Unity/AssetStore folder.
