Sharing a project folder between Mac and Windows ?
I am mostly working 3d and other texture assets on windows. Now, I am also working a lot more frequently on MacOSX.
So i figured that I'd put my Unity Project Folder on a FAT32 partition that both Unity Windows and Unity OSX can access in both reading and writing. So that I could work the assets on windows, and do the coding on OSX.
It doesn't seem to run so nicely. Unity windows is throwing all sorts of errors right now.
My questions are : Is that because of the FAT32 formatting ? Or is that because the OSX version added data the Windows version doesn't support ? Is that something you would recommend not to do ?
Thanks
I've moved whole projects between $$anonymous$$ac and Windows without any problems. I handle sharing of a project between both machines by using SVN. I know others use GIT.
