Error in UnityEditor.GameObjectInspector.OnDisable() although i didn't change it.
I am getting the error:
NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
UnityEditor.GameObjectInspector.ClearPreviewCache () (at <887a438259064e89922419bc7b8810ab>:0)
UnityEditor.GameObjectInspector.OnDisable () (at <887a438259064e89922419bc7b8810ab>:0)
UnityEditorInternal.VisualStudioUtil:FindVisualStudioDevEnvPaths(Int32, String[])
UnityEditor.VisualStudioIntegration.UnityVSSupport:InitializeUnityVSSupport()
I don't understand what it means and so I can't really solve it. As specified in the title I didn't change UnityEditor.GameObjectInspector.ClearPreviewCache () or UnityEditor.GameObjectInspector.OnDisable ()
Due to the fact that "VisualStudio" is mentioned, I will say that my external code editor is JetBrains'es Rider and that it is configured so in the project preferences.
Also, the error doesn't stop the game from compiling and running but it takes an absurd amount of time for it until it finishes compiling and unity doesn't respond for some time.
