git submodule vs npm package dependency
I have a number of Unity 3d projects that use the same functionality so I gathered up all the similar functionality and made a library. I'm currently including this library via a git submodule
git submodule add <submodule_url> Assets/<submodule_name>
I can update the submodule with
git submodule update --init --recursive
Considering what I'm doing, which is preferred: git submodule or turning everything into npm packages? Why would I go one way or the other?
