problem in exporting unity 5 project

I am trying to export a unity 5 project from another system.

I was previously having unity 4.6 and project was created on another system in unity 5. When I tried to open it on my system (having unity 4.6), it didn't.

I install unity 5. I got error of Failed to load window layout. This can happen if layout contains custom window and there are compile errors in the project.

I tried almost everything, finally by removing every folder named unity this error was not showing anymore but every time I open project all the scene are blank , no matter how I import project all the scenes and prefebs are blank.

Is there anyway I can import that project properly to my system? That project is working fine on another system.

Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.
