unity running extremely slow
I know this has been asked a few times but i still cant seem to fix the issue. i recently purpose built a PC for game development. totally clean install of Win7 x64 and Nvidia drivers and unity and everything, i imported my game project and it is running at roughly 1fps. The editor as well as the game inside the editor.
i have a system monitor up while im using unity to see what load my system is taking and it is always at between 1% and 6% CPU usage, and 4gb ram (of my available 32gb) and my GPU is running at roughly 2% usage, yet unity is STILL RUNNING AT BARELY 1 FPS?! why??
my pc can CLEARLY handle the load, so why is it not running properly.
Specs;
Intel 4770k CPU,
32gb ram,
Nvidia GTX 780ti GPU,
1000w 80+Platinum PSU,
4tb HDD,
all liquid cooled.
I flat out cant even work in unity. all the modeling programs and photoshop and various things run fine, but why not unity??
Look for debug.log in any of your OnGUI; make sure your computer is using Nvidia GPU and not integrated vid
