Instantiated prefabs not keeping their layers
Hello, everyone. I have a grenade that the player can throw, and it explodes and all, but when I tried to implement radar into my game, I got the problem of the explosions appearing outside of the walls. This happens because the radar is simply a camera above the player. So I changed the explosion prefab to a different layer, and told the radar camera not to render it, but it still does! How would I fix this? In addition, when I pause and go to the instance, it claims that it is on the explosion layer. All help would be appreciated, and sorry for the novel.
