HELP!!!! Unity Remote Not working!!!
Hi :)
I'm new to Unity and am using the free version 5.2.1 and have a Huawei 10.1 tablet with Android 4.1.2 running on it. Iv gone and installed the Android JDK and the SDK and linked everything as instructed in Unity/ preferences/ External Tools.Iv also gone and installed the Unity Remote on the tablet and have tried turning Unity of and plugging in the tablet and turning on the Unity Remote then turning on Unity and then Project settings/Editor /device/any Android device and then when I press play in Unity I don't see any screen in the tablet :( This is very depressing as Im looking forward to develop games in the Unity environment so to speak.
Any help will be of great appreciation here thanks :)
Do this:
Exit Unity.
Connect Device.
Start remote.
Start Unity.
Run Project
Remote does not like to be started at 2nd or Unity don't like to be first, don't ask me why.
Hi and thanks Octoman. Unfortunately it still doesn't work for me. Why is this?????
I'm not sure about Version 5.2.1, at least i can say it still works 5.1.1f1.
The colors are strange with unity remote, since the support has stopped as @spooneystone already mentioned.
But your device is correctly connected to your comp? Try just build & run your game when your tablet is connected, and see if there is any connection.
