How to make lights flash at different times?
Hey guys,
I found a script here: http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/34739/how-to-make-a-light-flicker.html which allows you to make lights flash on and off, but I want to know how to make lights flash at different times...
i.e. police lights, they don't always spin around at the same time, each light flashes at a different time to make it have a cool effect... (watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEQRSWG1ao4 to see the effect I'm talking about, head to 1:04 in the video!)
Thanks
-Grady
Remember my answer to your previous question? The same principles apply for the light intensity as well! In fact, I've updated that answer to apply to this question as well, since they are basically the same question. I wouldn't recommend using lots of lights right next to each other, though- the performance penalty is not worth the realism!

I would use the Time Function Class..and Create a few variable Scripted flicker sequences..using variations on the Time.or delta time functions worth reading up on as it a very useful Class function..can be used in alot of scripts that need delays or timers
