Mecanim isnt looping animations?
I have a animation controller setup so that if speed > 0.1, the run animations runs, if speed < 0.1, it transitions to idle. My problem is is that when Speed = 1, it runs the run animation once, and same for idle when speed is set to 0. What am i doing wrong.

Toggle the Loop Time variable in the Import Settings for the Animation. That usually makes it loop properly.
I'm using an asset pack from the unity store, is there anyway I can get to this from a premade pack? the only way ive managed to get it to work so far is like this.. http://imgur.com/prhGkpy.jpg
Find the animation in your Project window. In the Inspector window there should now be three tabs: $$anonymous$$odel, Rig and Animation. Click on Animation. The settings called Loop Time is there, toggle it to ON and hit Apply at the bottom.
I do not know exactly how your Animator is set up, so this might not be the issue at all, but it is worth a try.
@GameVortex when i click the animation and go to the animation pane, nothing is there? http://i.imgur.com/F9ciPBF.png it just looks like this.
The AnimationClip itself is a child in the Skeleton_w... object. To get to the import settings on the object, click on the parent (the Skeleton_w object). Then in the Inspector Window you will see the three tabs $$anonymous$$odel, Rig and Animation. Not in the Animation Window as you have in the screenshot.
Ah yes, worked perfectly! Thankyou for being patient with me.
