Mecanim AnyState transition issue with longer animation clips
Hi
In my mecanim setup, the character can go from any state to one of the attack states. The transition works fine from most animations but when going from idle (+- 100 frames long) to an attack, because the idle clip is so long the attack clip takes its entire length to transition in.
It works fine for the shorter clips though (e.g fun to attack, walk to attack all work fine since those clips are all a similar length (+- 24 frames long))
When I set the transition from a shorter clip (+- 24 frames) to:
The transition from the idle (+- 100 frames) clip looks like:
and if I decrease the transition time for the idle to attack clip, the transition time for the falling to attack clip becomes so short when playing, the animation appears to "snap".
Is there a way to set the transition time relative to the transitioning to clip? So that no matter which clip is being transitioned from, the transition will always take only 50% of the transitioning to clip's length (because it appears as if it is currently based on actual time).
