Downloading OBB patch files without using permission WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

Hi,

We've implemented an android patch system which downloads OBB files via CDN using WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission, not via google market.

However, using WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission is not recommended in some cases, especially from android 6.0. So, is there any good way to download OBB files without using WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission even we still use CDN?

As I know, it's a restriction from android system that we must download at specific path of external storage when we patch using OBB from CDN.

I'm just wondering if there's any possibility to use different path, or something else.
