Runtime Video Encoding - Is it possible?
I'm currently looking for a way to do runtime video encoding. In short, I have a application on a mobile device that let's you move a few objects around, saving each movement as it goes. Upon completion, unity will show a loading screen and another camera will go through the movement agian saving each frame out as a frame sequence.
This is all nice and well, but now the problem is encoding this to a video in unity (possible with sounds) that we can then offer the user to save on their device or share on social media sites.
So. Is there a way to do Video Encoding during runtime and is there tools/scripts existing for this allready?
I'm looking to do almost the same thing. Did you ever find a solution to this?
Well, that was close and did say almost exactly the same thing. I should clarify, I want to record from the device camera and not from the in game camera. I was hoping to see a method that I could adjust and change to work with a mobile device camera. Any awesome one size fits all for that?
