I need help with a companion!!!
Hello, I am making a game and I need a script that will enable whatever I attach the script to follow the player but stop at 3 feet away or so. Please Help!!!
ah yes, ok can the companion just follow the player, and go the same way as the player, maybe go off my 2 feet or so, but the companion must never touch the player.
This is no place to ask for scripts. Use Google and learn how to do it yourself. If you have a specific problem with the script lets us know and we will try and help.
Model it in your modelling program with your character in the same model and animate it to your liking and make it as a part of your character.

Adjust this slightly to do what you want by using a Vector3.Distance between yourself and the follower and if it is less than minimum follow distance, stop moving the follower.
