Shader for fake shadows on IOS?
Hi!
I'm having fake shadows on IOS based on a plane located under the object (shadow is a rectangle with one solid or transparent color/texture) and I'm looking after a solution, where in the case of overlapping shadow textures, the shadow is drawn only once. That is, the shadow texture is not re-drawn to the area where there is already a shadow.
Is it possible to make this with (fast) shaders (I'm new with shaders)? And if it is, is there any shader example available?
Edit: No ideas? Is it so that it is impossible to write a shader which is aware of other texture rendered/to be rendered?
