Creating a prefab programatically from .obj file
This question might be a little difficult. Unity3D works with prefabs. Its possible to create a prefab from for example another format. As an example let's imaging that we have an .obj file that comes from other software(Blender for example). Unity3D is able to import it and generate a prefab. Then you can reuse this prefab as much times that you want. If you open the prefab you can see text with some information. My questions goes in this direction, if Unity is able to do this , this conversion file should be available in some place so I can convert obj to prefab without "preparing" it in Unity Editor. Somebody knows if it could be possible to find this? I assume that is possible because you can generate the text but I would like to know if this tool for converting is available for using it. Thanks
