If I have 4 square planes, how can I get unity to recognize them as a larger square?
Ok, so if I have 4 square planes situated like so:
1 2
3 4
how can I get the engine to recognize that they are creating a larger square? The planes are all identical squares and they all precisely share edges on two sides.
It depends what you want to do with them. Could you be more specific on what you want these planes to do?
here's a link to a photoshop prototype of the game I am making. http://plaza.ufl.edu/wizzo/square_war_pic.html ; In this game each player takes a turn and clicks on a square on the field, which converts that square to his color. I want to score the game so that you get more points for making a larger square out of smaller squares (e.g. you get one point for each square plane you convert, but double points for each plane in a 2 x 2 square, etc. )
