Making renderer invisible without disabling it, changing alpha channel to 0 attempt fails
Hello,
I am using navmeshes for player control and i want the player to jump between obstacles so i put objects without colliders, nav mesh uses these objects for navigation, however them being visible ruins the experience so i want to make them invisible to player without disabling mesh renderer.
What made sense to me was this " gameObject.GetComponent().material.color.a = 0" however i get error with this code.
What i try to do is make object transparent in one way or another without disabling mesh renderer.
Any help is appreciated.
