iTunes music in games
So I am not sure is this the right place for this question, but I didn't find any other place to ask this.
So can I put music that I bought from iTunes to a Unity game that will be free? Since the game is free, I thought it would be legal, but I don't want to get in trouble, so I decided to ask it somewhere.
I'd say, no. You would need a license to use the music regardless of where you bought it for personal, not commercial use.
I would confirm the no since you need to be registered to use music in any situation other than your personal use. In the case of a game, you would need to contact the owner of the music, probably the publisher.

No, absolutely not. The iTunes usage rules clearly state:
"You shall be authorized to use iTunes Products only for personal, noncommercial use."

Sorry to revive this one year old topic but I remember that I was able to use my own music files in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 to add to a ride, imagine if I were to make a RCT clone, would it be allowed to let the player use mp3 files from his own library to add to the rides?
