Animation not playing as a child
So I'm trying to make a 3rd person game. I've got a capsule I'm moving around a map, character controller on it, rigid body, custom move script, all that. I then made a character model in blender, and I've added it as a child. I positioned it perfectly in the capsule, then took off the capsule renderer. Uses the capsules collision box, works great. But my character is stuck in T pose. I've got a simple idle animation, and a simple controller that just puts it into idle by default. If I drag the player on screen, it will animate. But it won't as a child of the capsule. If you open the animator tab when playing, it says the idle animation is playing, but nothing happens. I've tried checking apply root motion, and everything is set to humanoid. Anyone have any idea why being a child would make it stop working?
