The letter "5" in Unity 5's Icon, why is it cut off at the bottom?

Why is it cut off at the bottom? What's the design reason?
Where is that from exactly? This does not look like it's part of the official Unity branding (https://unity3d.com/public-relations/brand ).
Like @SaraCecilia said Where's that from ?
If it's at the watermark screen, Resolution error?
Basically if you google "Unity 5": https://www.google.com/search?q=unity+5&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS706US707&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahU$$anonymous$$EwiBwPOCnJnRAhX$$anonymous$$4CY$$anonymous$$HdTiDuEQ_AUICigD&biw=1745&bih=873
you can see that it is one of Unity 5's new logo. I'm just curious about the graphical design choice : p
oohh, I'm suspecting this is something we used for the marketing when launching Unity 5 or something, as it's part of some videos demo:ing the features. anyway it seems we've moved on from that design :P
Oh okay, THank you so much Sara for your time to answer. Glad to learn more about it. The design is quite ingenious actually.
